This artwork is created with endless straight and very thin lines all across the canvas using an alternating rhythm of colors and contrast, placing groups of different color 'harmonies' against other complementary or 'clashing' ones thus resulting in a range of colors an hues which vibrate in the 'viewers eye' in many different ways and changes according to the distance ,available light and the angle of view at which the painting is viewe. This is the result of painting very thin lines from about 0.5 mm to 3mm wide in straight lines and with a sharp edge. The thin lines are meticulously painted with acrylic paint , one color at a time over long painting sessions, colors are applied in layers, often laid down over other colors allowing the color underneath to show slightly. At close view one can see very thin lines, and when one stands a few steps back the eye can't distinguish between different lines and colors and the 'viewer's mind blends' the colors instead and often the colors seem to vibrate, the stripes have also been painted on the left and right edge of the canvas so when it is viewed from an acute angle from the left or right the lines look even 'tighter' together all the way to the side edges (top and lower edge are painted in dark blue). The inspiration for this 'series' of artworks has developed for many years from different sources such as nature and the 'spectrum of light'.
