About The Artwork
"Lobster" is an acrylic Mixed media painting on stretched canvas that measures 36" x 36" x 1.5". This painting remains as one of my favorites with how the color fields are broken down. Also loving the color palette that travels a realm of grays through, rust, slate blue and wonderful off whites. Loads of visual and tactile texture happen through the base of papers and tapes that started my composition. Sit back and allow your eye movement to happen. Smile at this piece in any setting, Salute! This is on the deeper canvas and the painting is carried onto the sides of the stretcher, so framing is not necessary. This piece is wired and ready to hang. However if a frame is desired, go for it. There are many choices you have with floater frames and deep rabbet framing. As I have mentioned on a number of my new pieces. This year has been an excellent one. I just delivered paintings to a company. Of which 12 were chosen for purchase. September 29, 2023 I have a one person show opening and will consist of approximately 30 pieces. October 6, 2023 I will be delivering another 35 pieces for a one person exhibition titles "Facets". During the remainder of 2023 I have been invited to 5 other invitationals which will hang 3 - 8 pieces each. And I am turning 70 in November. During the end of September, 21-29 I will be traveling on business and pleasure. During that one week period I will not be available to ship paintings.
