Living in Harmony- Acrylic paint, plaster and Fabric collage on canvas. I have always been fascinated by texture and the emotions they evoke within. This two- piece abstract painting expands the viewers vision to experience something greater than our existence. It represents us as free and endless as the ocean. It represents living in harmony with each other. And just like the ocean, Freedom, Unity and Harmony are the eternal attributes of the soul. I like my paintings to be abstract, loose, messy, moving and evolving , just like nature. The movement of the paint and the fabric pieces on canvas is reminiscent of nature in its most abstract form. The longer you look, the more depth and layers emerge. And the energy and harmony between these two pieces of expanding ocean will resonate with the viewer on an emotional level.
