About The Artwork
The Medieval villages of Catalonia are a gorgeous mix of earthy browns, reds and yellows set against forests and mountains. The golden light at sunset or just before it rains intensifies the colours. Often in the heat the villages look like they are melting into the landscape. I use a pallet knife to create this textured and sumptuous effect. The sides of the painting are white and there are two eye hooks and wire for easy hanging. The back is signed
