Ganesha, The Bestower of Prosperity Painting

Ganesha is the lord of “Good Beginnings” according to the concept of Hinduism. Without Ganesha’s blessings, even no other God allows anything to happen. I am not superstitious, but I am a believer, and I believe in Lord Ganesha. This painting of Lord Ganesha was begun in 2007 and completed in 2020. Imagining and painting Ganesha the way I feel about Him wasn’t easy. For me Ganesha is at the heart of the Universe and every heartbeat is Ganesha’s creation of life that we see and feel around us. This is the first painting of the unique Ganesha Series. I am a pure abstract artist and for me every work of art is a representation of the formless, omnipotent God. However, I felt very strongly of painting a series of paintings as an ode to Lord Ganesha. I hope you feel the power of Ganesha and receive His blessings in abundance!
