Ganesha, The Benefactor Painting

I am a pure abstract artist with no form or figures in my paintings whatsoever. I am a spiritual person and feel that the mother God is omnipresent and what I paint is just Her reflection. Sometimes I am drawn to the Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai and I somehow feel that there is a Higher Energy present there. After one such visit I felt that I must now paint another image of Lord Ganesha, as it comes to me…as if the hand is mine but the directions are from elsewhere. The image was really powerful and although I painted it, it always seemed beyond me to have painted it. What is it that you hope to receive from Lord Ganesha? Lord Ganesha has the power to bring about anything that you have the capacity to think of. Lord Ganesha is the Lord of “Beginnings”. Good beginnings!
