By deconstructing the subject, where composition and perspective are broken down into rhythms, surfaces and brushstrokes, I focus on an intuitive reading of nature and my own surroundings. Using repetition, different brush directions and different depth effects, I create a true landscape with abstract elements that alternate between something familiar and something completely familiar. I always work with memory, connect what I see with subjective experience and moods, I approach different landscapes with different techniques, layers of color, some transparent, some opaque, form the essence of the paintings.
