About The Artwork

This abstract expressionist acrylic painting captures the serene grandeur of a forest inspired by the Luxembourg landscape. The vibrant colors dance across the canvas, portraying the tranquility and beauty inherent in nature. The artist's expressive technique reflects a sense of nostalgia and lightness, inviting the viewer to a peaceful reverie amidst the abstract trees and dappled light. This medium-sized painting is not just a visual feast but an emotional journey, offering a respite from the hustle of daily life. Title: Forest Materials: Acrylic on canvas Size: 30 x 60 x 2 cm Year created: 2018 For me art is both a pathway to my inner world and a means to share my feelings, dreams, innate tendencies, fantasies and desires with the outside world. In the creative process I first observe the unique world of images, sounds, forms and colors. The outer world, as manifested through music, surroundings, situations and encounters, is reflected in the abstracted form through my paintings and printmaking artworks.
