This painting is part of a series termed, Honoring Nature. The painting evokes the feeling of serenity and calmness that the diaphanous mist of a waterfall can create. Its gentle color pallette of greens and blues are in sharp contrast to the churning red sky above. I paint abstract landscapes in mixed media using acrylics and an assortment of plant dyes and natural elements apropos to the subject.
