About The Artwork
Minimal, atmospheric, contemplative oil painting on canvas. From the series of works entitled 'Of Bliss and Silence'. Made during an artist residency in Portugal, the works are inspired by the colours of the sky during evening twilight and meditative states of being. The work is made with multiple thin layers of the highest quality oil paints to create a radiance of colour. The painting has a smooth surface on 4cm deep gallery stretched canvas. It is ready to hang and no frame is required. The work is signed along the bottom left edge.
