About The Artwork
Doggedly is a series of paintings inspired by my love of dogs. Although I did not grow up with dogs as soon as I was in the position to have a dog I got one. Labradors are happy, easy going dogs, but sometimes their doggy faces are filled with pathos that is in direct contrast to their personality. It is this apparent sadness that I tried to capture.
