This painting is shows women during a religious ceremony in Mauritius, all wearing clothes dyed in the same color, and having taken a vow of silence. I am interested in the way pigment is used as means of expression in order to achieve a transcendental space. It was exhibited at Focus 11 Art Basel 2011, Pfeister Gallery Denmark 2011, and Dakar Biennale of Contemporary Art 2012.
