The sun glistened on her ebony black feathers So black they looked almost blue Light bouncing back and forth Making her as colorful as a rainbow She spread her dark wings and took command of the sky Soaring high and low Returning back to the tree she perched on often He looked into the tree and was blinded by her colors Bouncing off her beautiful ebony black feathers He gazed upon her beauty Until he could see his own reflection She sang and he danced She twirled and he swirled She soared and he roared And one faithful day He finally made her his That we may love as birds do One partner for life Love… loyalty….
