Expressive piece inspired by the sky and its constantly changing cloud formations. A study piece of sorts, playing with deifferent techniques. Colour note: the blue base is a close match with RAL 5009, the plummy main colour is less red than pictured and shares a base tone with RAL 4004 (admixed with white to make more of a pastel plum colour). The whole piece has rather more than a hint of spray glitter about it, particularly on the lower half (a previous layer!). Painted on a canvas-wrapped board (with gallery corners). Edges are neatly painted and the piece is strung with picture wire, ready to hang. Signed and dated by me on the back.
