About The Artwork
Summer ´22. A 3 month experience. An open to public atelier, workspace, in Dolceacqua. Close to the city of Ventimiglia. The old part of the city is charming, composed by many small streets , called "carruggi", tunnels, galleries, sun shininh behind small corners opening on the sea sight. The old part of the city was dominated by this large big water-green building giving to the whole a special light. I painted this Ventimiglia view in studio, basing only on my memry and impressions. Searching for a precise view, a real image of the city, would be pointless. This is my inner view of ventimiglia, condensed water green.
