This painting was inspired by a recent trip to Cape Cod where we attended a beach wedding. After the ceremony, we saw this beautiful sunset, and I wanted to capture the way the clouds which seemed to pulsate across the sky. The grass in the foreground seemed to echo the lines of the clouds.
