About The Artwork
The light of the summer sun inspired me to paint this work. I initially laid out abstract color surfaces intuitively. From carefully observing this arrangement, I further developed the work into a composition of various organic forms of plants and lines. The forms emerge from "themselves" - by themselves - and are not searched for or traced. This creates a natural informality and playfulness in the image. The contrast of light-dark, light-shadow plays a central role in this picture and creates a touch of the exotic. With a focused eye and a sure hand, Corina Capri knows how to create maximum expressiveness with just a few lines and dots. For the artist, the picture expresses joy in life and prosperity.
