Blue Orchids The orchid is such a unique flower. I try to keep at least one around the house. I love all the interesting colors, shapes, and textures. When I sit down to paint, I’m constantly thinking of the characteristics and uniqueness of each flower. I spend quite a bit of time jumping from one side of the artwork to the other. I want to give each flower a unique brush stroke or mark.
