About The Artwork
I have always loved vintage fashion and the retro glamour shots of bathing beauties in their "daring" two piece bathing suits. This painting was inspired by a photo of my mother as a young newly married woman on the beach. The embroidery pattern was taken from pattern than she stitched in red embroidery floss on a linen table cloth.
