About The Artwork
This was inspired by visiting Seattle and taking in all the beauty of nature there and wanting to give something lively and creative to the family who commissioned it. I had complete freedom to do what I wanted as long as I used a limited palette to compliment the room. That was a fun experience in letting them in to collaborate and yet not impede upon the creativity. This is acrylic on unstretched canvas with staining and opaque paint.
