I was inspired by the Dead Sea in Israel to create a painting called "Abandoned Harbor." Unfortunately, because of the depletion of salt resources in the lake, factories that were built on the coast had to shut down. Now, they're deserted and have been left to their own devices. I was fascinated by these empty buildings, which have a unique and impressive afterlife. To capture the scene as I saw and experienced it, I developed a distinctive idea and technique. I used oil paints to layer colors on top of each other, creating a mystical and transparent look that taps into the symbiotic relationship between color and form. ✔ The painting is signed on the front and back. It is on a gallery-wrapped canvas with finished grey edges and comes ready to hang. "Abandoned Harbor" was created in the spring of 2014 at the Island Studio in Jerusalem. About the series "Second Silence": The "Second Silence" series is deeply connected to the man in nature, as its predecessor. However, it is more vibrant and intense in color than "First Silence," yet still maintains the hypnotic, dream-like quality of the earlier works. The landscapes are atmospheric and melancholic, effortlessly eliciting emotions. To shift the viewer's focus from the natural landscape, I have limited the familiarity of forms in the compositions. This approach invites the viewer to explore their own fantasies and imagination. If you feel overwhelmed by mass pop culture and seek comfort in symbolism, silence, and mystical wanderings, then "Second Silence" is the perfect fit for you.

Alexey is an artist who seeks to connect with his audience on a deep and meaningful level. He achieves this by exploring the intersection between abstraction and surrealism, two powerful artistic concepts that allow him to express his inner world in a unique and compelling way. Alexey is not content with simply sharing his personal vision; however, he wants his viewers to be active participants in the creative process, inviting them to construct their own interpretations and narratives by engaging with his work emotionally and intellectually. Alexey's approach to art is grounded in a deep respect for the creative process and a willingness to embrace randomness and chance in his work. He is not constrained by preconceived notions or rigid ideas about how art should be created. Instead, he allows his intuition and imagination to guide him, taking advantage of the mind's remarkable ability to find order in chaos. Ultimately, Alexey's goal is to move beyond the mere replication of reality and toward creating a world that reflects his innermost thoughts and feelings. By pushing the boundaries of artistic expression and inviting his audience to join him on this journey, he hopes to inspire others to explore their own creativity and unlock their full potential as artists and human beings. www.alexeyadoninart.com
