About The Artwork
I visited the holy temple of Goddess Mumba after whom the city of Mumbai is named. It's a small temple and the vibrations I felt there were so strong that my eyes welled up. I could not spell out the wish I'd wanted fulfilled for I was back to being a child in front of a mother. I said nothing for I knew that a mother knows all that's in her child's heart. This painting tries to show the power I felt in the temple.
