Abstract expressionist painting on a wood artist's panel. The sides are painted gray. My abstract expressionist paintings are inspired by the more transient moments of life. Life is always moving. But the moments repeat so that the senses experience continuity. In layers of color and texture with a variety of movement and stream of consciousness mark making I communicate my experiences that can't be translated in words. My painting process involves working through different possibilities and as these resolve, the painting emerges with generous layers of color and texture.
