THE THESPIAN Artwork

Irish Artist, Patrick J. Murphy, was born, lives and creates in Belfast. Always interested in art he eventually followed his instincts and enrolled in art classes at the Belfast Institute of Higher Education. It proved to be a turning point in his life. Something he had been unsure about was suddenly clear: Quote : “I sat in that first oil painting class feeling numb with disbelief. A light had been switched on for me. It was very dramatic. I suddenly had discovered what I needed, what I had to do with my life. It was such an emotional experience and my painting continues to be.”
