About The Artwork
Red is one of my all-time favourite colours. Being of Malaysian of Chinese descent, red means a lot in my culture. Our Chinese New Year is usually set off with lots of fireworks. The celebration lasts for 15 days, and we tend to dress in red when visiting family and friends. Black is a powerful colour to go with Red, as they are gorgeous and powerful together. Plus, I am a citizen of New Zealand and have been here past 22 years. We wear a lot of black in NZ, and our famous rugby pro club is called 'All Blacks'. I am sure you have heard of us. I love seeing two of my favourite colours together!
