High Dive Artwork - Limited Edition of 6

This is an unframed high quality canvas image produced for me by my fine art publisher. I woke up and had the idea for this artwork. It took me from 10 am to 5 pm to produce it. That including messing about dropping things into water to get splash and other effects to photograph. It is difficult to photograph an item splashing into water for a split second, you keep getting before and after and no splash. I also wanted to create the different effects you would see on the body when entering water. It is bright sunshine so the legs would be very white, entering the tank, that part of the body would be darker and in the water would have the splashes, air bubbles, reflection of the tank in the sunlight and it would be difficult to see the detail. Being a sunny day and a diver enjoying herself it should give the viewer a pleasant feeling.
