About The Artwork

This work stems from the artist's intent to bring "out" the messages that reach her. They are phrases, words that have a transformative power. The base is made from ancient hand-made lace, inside there is all the alchemy of women who spent their time in quete to create in a moment of connection with their heart. These little doilies are real mandalas where love circulates. The artist recommends putting them indoors, in the most popular places to be able to see them. Each time it's coming back to that vibration, each time it's remembering where we came from. Do you feel Gratitude when you look in the mirror? Not for what you have, not for what you imagine that could soon come. Feeling gratitude is not depending on something or one. It is not a compromise. When You Are Graditine You Are With All Your Cells. You are gratitude. You become, yourself, luminous matter. Feeling in gratitude is listening to life as it flows, in this moment, where you are immersed in a surf dance, riding the waves of life in perfect balance. Being grateful is an art and there will be no course, book or manual that can teach you this art. Art is not learned, art is felt. This feeling will come for everyone, to you, every morning it is only up to you to open this Door.

You won't find me in my artistic research, I'm not the protagonist, rather you. In a certain sense, I put myself aside to make room for the narration of lives that I stop on the canvas and for the words that come to support the path of those who I observe. The black background, which often appears almost as a theatrical backdrop for my canvases, serves to bring clarity in two ways: every brushstroke of black is functional to allow me to enter a vibrant and subtle dimension that allows me to access stories of men and women and to bring balance to their passage. The image that arrives on the canvas is just a frame of a complex scene; it is the image of a face unknown to me calling to find the way home. The black background brings light, not only to me, the artist, but the light of every face that dialogues in this sublime passage stands out. Black, darkness, should not be fought or feared but understood in its usefulness which is always in line with our personal journey of reunion through life and death. Recently, embroidery has entered my research, which can be compared to life: its unitary design cannot be understood if one concentrates on the detail but, broadening one's gaze, one can perceive the sense of those continuous curves and bottlenecks. Observing from above it is possible to enjoy the wonderful design of life. Today I also opened up to the custom-made artwork, about the person who asks to interrogate the ancient memory (the Akash) that has existed since there has been life. From the questions asked by the person who wishes to receive the work, I draw the messages that can best support his journey and I return a work of art that speaks of the person, between heavenly images and words. I'm the first to be amazed at what comes, from the black background to the textures of the lace and the depth of the words. I am amazed and moved by touching points of joy that words struggle to convey. I am moved by the wisdom and great respect that life has for us. The faces that arrive slowly introduce themselves to me; with my hands it is as if I were modeling them, it doesn't even seem like I am painting but I simply create, I bring to light what was already there but just needed to find its order again. This is my job.
