A Piece of History Collage

I was born in 1965 in Benavente, Portugal and I live in Azores Islands, Ponta Delgada. I have coursed Traditional Chinese Medicine, in China and Portugal. Several years ago, as a result of a chance to start studing sculture with my neighbor and friend, sculptor Verdadeiro Marques. I found myself involved with my current passion, sculpting. My first piece was cast in 2005. While i was made an effort to talk in internet to all of the sculptors i can find, and wandered through many museums taking notes and sketching, and has received informal input from many artists. To date all of my work has been of human and surrelistic figures and busts, and essentially all are representational. I looks upon this late found activity as a truly surprise gift, of God to my work, and one that has provided much more pleasure.
