An African Dream ©Brian Rolfe 2009 In 2009 I donated the painting "An African Dream" to the president of FIFA, Mr Sepp Blatter. As a South African artist my intention was to thank FIFA and Mr. Blatter for making a dream possible to so many South Africans. Not only does the 2010 World Cup bring hope to aspiring football players but it spills over to every person in South Africa who dreams of competing on the international stage. It gives us that additional confidence to keep aspiring to greater goals, it keeps our hopes alive.
