when asked to create a piece for an exhibition in the Flameco Arts Museum in Seville and considering that my work is mainly abstract and therefor dificult to fit in any kind of subject but painting it self,I decided to used a simbolic approach and include figurative elements as a methaphor of flamenco.Yunke is a tool used in the forge and there is a certain "Palo" of flamenco that was born in this work enviroment. The only music is the noise of menworking with the metal. It is a sad variation of the many that flamenco has and is the one i was interested in represent on this piece.

Spanish Artist 1977 Sevilla. In my work there is improvisation and arrangement; there is room for chaos and the meditated construction of an image. There are connections, contradictions and dilemmas wrapped in an abstract atmosphere in which the emphasis is made in the process of painting itself and its characteristics and possibilities as a medium.
