I am inspired by what I see and what I feel; still in fall mindset, the season of deep shadows in canyon country. The shapes in this abstract landscape are not so much the rugged landscape but inspired more the the American abstract expressionists from last century. of those artists I am inspired especially by Franz Kline, Robert Motherwell, Mark Rothko, and Ad Reinhardt. (I forgot to mention Ad Reinhardt in my prior listings). I have been creating art as early as I can remember and am a graduate of the University of Cincinnati where I studied fine arts and design at their school of Design, Architecture and Art. While I have had a few stints working in graphic design my heart and my talents lie primarily in fine arts.
