Tate Britain to Liverpool St. station on a rainy October afternoon; the city turned electric as it changes from day to night. The paintings are richly coloured oil glazes on large canvases showing the traces of city lights and buildings across the Thames.

There are particular places and moments in time that capture my attention and lead me to paint a whole body of work around those themes.
