Piano man & violin orchestra conducted by the Maestro playing to a packed audience. I want my painting to make a statement, to be timeless, exquisite, to tell stories to be vivid, exciting, thought-provoking with something of myself in my paintings; in the form, the colours, the brush strokes. my paintings are all about people though sometimes they may not always look like your average person; they are like the sea ever changing. I want my people to have a bit of character, a little of the night about them but above all I want them to be unique and to hold your imagination. Using oils on prepared gesso stretched canvases which are gallery wrapped the edges painted black so that they can be hung without the need of a frame but of course, framing is a personal choice, and a frame can enhance a painting though I have many photos of my work on walls around the world unframed. My work is displayed in over 37 countries, including some iconic places like Berkeley Square in London’s Mayfair, 5th Ave New York, Malibu beach and Hollywood in California and the latest is Greece. COMMISSIONS: I would be delighted to create you a unique work, whatever size you need or colour palette. Thailand
Ta Byrne is a Thai artist who lives and works on the beautiful island of Koh Samui, just off the south coast of Thailand. Her Oil Paintings . are vibrant, eye-catching and packed with a sense of fun and humour. Ta takes humans as her focal point in her Figurative Painting but abstracts these figures by distorting them and using a cartoonish style to create a more humorous feel. While her work is mostly representational, she incorporates Surrealist elements in many of her paintings, making her one of the most exciting artists working in Thailand today. Ta comes from humble beginnings, living out her childhood on the rural outskirts of Bangkok as a farmer's daughter. During her teen years, she worked sewing shirts in a Bangkok sweatshop, and it was during this time that she met an old street artist who invited her to his studio. This sparked her desire to become an artist, and since then, she has gone on to produce Abstract and Cubist paintings that have received international acclaim from art connoisseurs.
