About The Artwork

The oil painting is painted in realistic style. It is not a photograph! During the digital evolution as professional international animation artist I am constantly learning. There a home things that have not changed in our society:relaxing in a park. Two moments of photography come together in the painting: the focus(the person is painted realistically) and the search (the background is out of focus)Many international famous people have my paintings and fine art. Since 1990 I work on many animation films for internationally well know directors;.Richard Williams, Raoul Servais are a couple of them. When I was a child I admired a painters as Rembrandt and Vermeer. I wanted to be abled to paint like them. Later I enjoyed looking at many other styles, impressionism, abstract, As I paint en draw daily for the last 25 years my dream came true and I developed my skills to a level I never could have imagined. In the animation there is a digital evolution and I learned how to paint digitaly at the end of 1990'sl. For personal art I prefer to paint traditional. In 1994 I started painting abstract. The focus was on color and color combinations. Slowly I started adding figures in the abstract paintings. During a reunion of the Richard Williams team in London we discussed how much we have to learn continuously. After the reunion I saw people in the park and felt very happy that certain things have not changed: relaxing on the grass. Since then I love to play with the light and dark in my paintings...
