About The Artwork
The painting shows a jellyfish and a plastic bag. I based the idea on the visual similarity of these objects. Both of them are transparent and have similar shapes. The main elements are fragmentarily placed diagonally across the canvas to emphasize the dynamics and “entering the picture”. Thus, I wanted to show how garbage gradually takes place from marine inhabitants.
