The work "Fortunes Lost and Realized" is based on a personal journey of conscious decisions. The movement of shapes and paint are an influence of Fragonard works. Alhough my decision on the use of color, gold leaf and subject matter is mostly symbolic to me, I still wanted to capture the sweetness that Fragonard displayed in his work.
