About The Artwork
The yellow dog first appeared many years ago, in a series of paintings I did about the apparent idyll of the nuclear family, and the horrors vaguely shimmering behind the peaceful flower curtains. In my latest painting and linoprints the yellow dog strikes again! In this painting it demands - omnipresent and insisting - to be fed at the breakfast table, and to chew a chunk of the everyday with its small, sharp teeth!
