About The Artwork
I love trying to capture the light, breaking through a dark leafy as it plays and illuminates some gracious plant, leaves, flowers or spiders web, a reflection in a puddle of pool... where gold fish glow just below the surface... Here a shaft of light dances and almost sets a small shrub alight... I visited this friend recently - the small shrub here has grown into a veritable tree in its own right and casts much shade on newly planted young hydrangeas.... a new scene to paint Hopefully the viewer appreciates something of what I was trying to capture.
