After being asked to propose an artwork that highlights LGBT+ rights within the justice system over the past 100 years, Gary Mansfield produced The struggle of Roy G. Biv. Depicting the, normally grey twisted metal barb, in rainbow colours, visually shouting to make its voice heard. It can be seen kicking and struggling from the unjust grip of the ‘black & white’ linear rule of the law.
