About The Artwork
Layered plywood, cut on a CNC router. The drop shapes are affixed into holes of the same shape. This piece is a play on the tattoo culture of keeping track of deaths, murders, or other landmark events. I have no tattoos, but I've broken my arms four times: 3 times the right, and once my left arm. I've titled the piece fruition because the final piece looks exactly as I drew up the plans in my sketch book. Also, I hope never to break my arms again, so this should be an accurate count of my broken arms forever.
