I am a Fine Arts graduate from the University of Colorado Denver. My current body of work is a contemporary expedition into the Mesoamerican culture. Abstractly, it familiarizes audiences of all ages, races and professions with ancient Mayan imagery, architecture and painting. This body of work also represents a look at a notable color theory scheme, which is specifically the effect of an anomaly color. This represents the separation, organization and intelligence of the ancient Mexican people and their culture. My work is instinctually dried, cracked, scrapped, torn and worn to get different textures. This will simulate the appearance of old ruins and eroded surfaces. My inspirational motives are driven by the ancient past, our current time and the unthinkable future.
