The main focus of my work is the portrayal of London, both its contemporary life and its past. Within this broader subject there are at present two themes that of the cityscapes and that of the nightlife,burlesque etc.. Contrasts feature prominently so there are usually multiple images combining figurative & abstract painting, interiors & exteriors, colour & monochrome.
Although primarily a painter I like to combine media and explore new materials.
