Born in the 60s, survived the 70s, muddled through the 80s and partied all through the 90s.

I am an independent artist currently working in the medium of photography, employing both digital and analogue film. I am also a creative director in a design and advertising agency in London.

My personal work is often completed as a series of images, exploring one or several ideas at a time.

The 'Tasseography' series are a record of the micro landscapes I finally reach each morning at the bottom of my coffee cup. I don't know if they contain any good or bad omens. Good or bad, they can at times (particularly when my camera is not at hand) be quite awesome.

The photographs for the 'Unknown lives' series come from a charity shop in London called 'Past Caring' (what a great name!). I was surprised to see so many personal photographs available for sale to the general public. I wondered who these people were but there was no clue in the box they came in, so I had the idea of inventing a visual narrative, though what they finally mean is clearly up to you.
