does he fall? does he rise? does the mouth feed his stomach? does the stomach feed the mouth? life support you call this life? Note: All the work in this collection is made from display mannequins who are cut apart, rearranged, clothed and painted. Many parts, including hands and especially heads, are extensively remodelled. The figures are all life-size. The many layers of paint makes the figures hard to the touch, but they probably won't survive for long out of doors.

I am a sculptor and digital artist, active in a wide range of media. As a sculptor I work primarily with mixed-media collages, using found objects to create intricate constructions with surrealist and gothic overtones. My latest project is Curieaux, a collection that reimagines antique furniture in mutated forms. Hovering ambiguously between the practical and the surreal, it adds bizarre and sometimes shocking dreamlike elements to familiar objects. By fusing traditional craftsmanship with post-industrial imagery, Curieaux carries the cyberpunk aesthetic into the realm of fine art. My influences include Po Shun Leong, the Chapman brothers, Joseph Cornell and Hieronymus Bosch. My art explicitly embraces the Japanese principles of Wabi Sabi and Kintsugi. My commissioned work includes a life-size figure for the Royal Bethlem Hospital, and my sculptures have been acquired by collectors in the UK and Europe. As an illustrator, I have been published in every mainstream UK newspaper. I studied philosophy at the University of East Anglia, and am the author of a dozen books on digital illustration, as well as an Amazon #1 bestseller. I taught digital design at the University of Westminster and am a guest lecturer at the London College of Communication. I have lectured widely throughout the UK and Europe, and delivered the keynote address at the 2016 Royal Photographic Society Digital Conference.
