body made of latex in an antique birdcage, mostly antique hatpins and doll eyes on the bottom of the cage. the hatpins symbolize the pain rubenesque women have been suffering from. the discrimination of curvy women in society, the feeling of being imprisioned in their bodies and by society, the feeling of being gazed at and the mentality of the average men in continental europe "fat women are good for bed, but can`t be shown round" inspired me to create that sculpture.

Born in 1965, lives and works in Vienna, Austria. Photography, art objects, assemblage, video. The intended mise-en-scene has been an important component of her art work. Having started with arranged portraits, for the last three years she has focused on still lifes.
