Twan de Vos (1961-2009, Tilburg, Netherlands) works and lived in Wageningen (Netherlands). Twan had his studio in an old stone factory in the water meadows of Wageningen, directly on the Rhine river. His work has been shown at various galleries in the Netherlands, and he has had regular exhibitions In Belgium and Germany. Twan,s work is always about people, and their feelings, but primarily their underlying relationships. The subjects are commonplace and are illustrated in an open humorous manner. He makes colorful paintings, silkscreens, and sculptures. Each painting is a collage of diary pages from different periods. Mottos inspired by the 1970s appear in current issues. He says on this "...feelings are timeless".
