VIEW IN MY ROOM
In Greek mythology, it was said that Narcissus was a youth of unparalleled beauty, who wandered the woods with the arrogance of someone who has never known rejection. His eyes, mirrors of the sky, and his smile, a spell in itself, caused many hearts to lose themselves in the labyrinth of his charm. However, Narcissus, blind to any affection that wasn't his own, scorned those who dared to love him. One day, he scorned the nymph Echo, who, cursed by Hera, could only repeat the last words spoken to her. Heartbroken by his unrequited love, she faded until only her voice remained. Nemesis, the goddess of retribution, observing this, decided to punish Narcissus's arrogance. Led by a divine scheme, Narcissus came upon a clear spring. Bending to drink, he saw his reflection and, not recognizing himself, fell deeply in love. Unable to look away from the image, he remained, consumed by an impossible love. Eventually, he succumbed, and in his place, a flower bloomed, bearing his name to this day. My beautiful Narcissus, born from that myth, is contemporary, a young man of incredible beauty, arrogant and vain, his heart is only an ornament, as he only loves himself.

My art is a constant search for beauty, to materialize my thoughts and ideas in clay until I create a work that transmits some emotion to the spectator. Sensuality and eroticism are part of my language, but an elegant and provocative eroticism, without falling into the vulgar or banal. I work with porcelain for its whiteness. It is the ideal medium to express myself as a synonym of ethereal and pure beauty. Then I like to paint on them as if they were a blank canvas on which I can draw. You could say that I extract and change that purity and turn it into something more earthly, full of life and reality. Each drawing is a tattoo that tells a story or reaffirms an idea. Each of my creations is a part of me, my thoughts, my emotions, my essence, and my vision of the world. I use the human figure as an instrument of communication since it is an inexhaustible source of inspiration. Therefore, I like to look for poses that merge corporal expression with ideas, it is a perfect combination that will last in time and an excellent way to express myself.
