About The Artwork
Island The island consists of a female torso in sphinx-like posture. A thick leafy plant grows out of the torso. The plant becomes the garden, in which various hybrids hurry about. The idea is growth, a dream-like mixture of human, animal, plant, and landscape: the micro and macro cosmos.
