Tropical Modernism (tentative title) is a series of sculptures exploring materials and systems, reflecting an informal, precarious, and/or poetic way of creating "things" and "moments". The weight of the water absorbed by the thick cotton rope, lifts one brick. Once enough water is evaporated, the brick falls again.
