I am a Japanese abstract artist based in the U.S.A. My art training began at the age of eight with oil painting & Japanese calligraphy. In each composition I explore the “architecture of the imagination" in which diverse geometric elements are harmonized within a holistic visual universe. My art strikes a delicate balance, dynamic tension and integration of "cool" geometric forms accentuated by "warm" evocative colors. Dual hemispheres are united by a bold central geometric element. The precise placement of geometrics evokes a sense of movement (freedom) and stability (control) among contrasting, opposing hemispheres. Clean lines bring the composition into pristine focus. My art has been featured by major media such as New York City’s Fox 5 television “Good Day Art Gallery”, Tampa Bay Times, New Jersey’s Star-Ledger newspaper, Studio Visit Magazine as well as Japan’s Fuji television and Asahi television networks.
